I stopped by for a quick lunch & was pleasantly surprised. The aroma of fresh ground coffee greeted me as soon as I walked in. I had a BLT & chips. The sandwich had a garlic mayo which was perfect. The chips were tasty too. This is a hidden gem! Very clean dining area and free wifi.

Breakfast sandwich uses pre-made eggs. I had it twice hoping I was just having a bad experience that day. Its like chewing rubber and gross. Everything else about this place is a 5.... So I stopped in 3/12/26. The food was leaps and bounds better.

Flood city cafe has great drinks and food! They currently have their Fall menu full of festive flavors!! I personally love the apple spice oatmilk espresso! I can't wait to try the seasonal sandwiches that have flavors like apple butter, pumpkin, apple spice, etc.

My go to for new places is always a chicken salad sandwich, and I must say I give the flood city cafe the credit for having the best. The sandwich tasted homemade and the croissant was beyond crispy but also the right amount of fresh. The macaroni could use more cheese but also tasted very fresh and homemade. Lastly the ice coffee we got was a 10/10. I’ve tried a lot of coffee and yet again, this coffee would probably be one of my favorites I’ve ever tried. Definitely recommend stopping by. Great energy from staff and beautiful cafe.

We ordered a wrap platter from here for lunch. Everyone LOVED it. I went in to pay for it and discovered they have really for real loose tea here! The tea was fabulous and everyone I dealt with was so nice. I highly recommend the Flood City Cafe.

Great cold brew! Becky and I both got made-to-order breakfast sandwiches -- super tasty. Staff was polite and friendly. Drive through, take-out and online ordering made the process quick and easy. We would go back.

Friend recommended I stop for a coffee while downtown, it was great. Coffee was hot, smooth; very good!! Well that turned into lunch with a fantastic wedding soup. Much more my planned 'coffee stop'. Atmosphere is great, comfortable and welcoming.

My first time into this lovely space in downtown Johnstown, very close to Coney Island was a positive one! Friendly and helpful staff were also very efficient. Atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. I only grabbed a beverage but they had plenty to choose from and the cold pistachio latte I chose was delicious! They had a nice menu selection for food as well but I was just stopping for a drink and to see this place. There were people inside eating and a small stage for musicians.

I went to the Flood City Cafe with my grandmother and we were blown away by the warm atmosphere that is created the moment you walk in the door! We were greeted by a polite young woman behind the counter who took our order and gave my grandma as much time as she needed to look over the menu. I ordered one of their St. Patrick’s Day lattes which was AMAZING! For food, my grandma got a bagel sandwich and was very satisfied with her meal. We also got the Buffalo chicken panini and the Mediterranean chicken salad. The panini is a must try but we probably wouldn’t get the Mediterranean salad again. Nothing was wrong with it, just a bit bland. Overall, we were very satisfied by our experience at the Flood City Cafe, and are happy to have a quaint and yummy place to visit downtown.
